LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada's gaming regulators say they will rescind their COVID-19 mitigation requirements effective Tuesday, June 1.

In a notice released Wednesday, the state Gaming Control Board said all gaming licensees will have to comply with their respective county's capacity and social distancing requirements.

Because Clark County voted to remove all capacity restrictions starting in June, the update effectively means all casinos in Southern Nevada can return to full capacity that day if they haven't already.

The Gaming Control Board says it will not approve any requests to increase capacity before June 1.

"If the status of the spread of COVID-19 changes in such a way that a county amends its Local Plan, the Board expects each licensee to fully comply with such changes," the notice states.
